Twin Cities Ukulele Club: Meet the People Behind TCUC

The Twin Cities Ukulele Club (TCUC) features Executive and Advisory Committees, along with various planning groups, composed of active club members passionate about the ukulele community. Our Great Minnesota Uke Gathering (GMUG) Planning Group convenes year-round to organize this exciting event. TCUC Club Coordinator Tony Anthonisen collaborates with the Executive and Advisory Committees, as well as the GMUG Planning Group, to oversee important aspects of the club, including:

- Club events

- Club policies

- Club expenses and finances

**Twin Cities Ukulele Club Executive Committee**

The Executive Committee of the Twin Cities Ukulele Club supports the Club Coordinator in addressing the more complex challenges the club faces. There are no fixed terms for Executive Committee members, and each member also participates in the Advisory Committee.

They possess diverse backgrounds and expertise, and generously dedicate their time to ensure the best interests of TCUC members and jammers are prioritized. Their mission is to advise on initiatives that enhance the club and the broader ukulele community, rather than individual interests. Any personal information shared with the Advisory Committee remains confidential and is not disclosed outside the committee.

Though there are no designated terms for the Twin Cities Ukulele Club Advisory Committee members, we conduct an annual review of committee membership. If you are an active participant in TCUC and are interested in joining the Advisory Committee, please reach out. You can also contact us with questions, comments, or to share information with the TCUC Executive or Advisory Committees, or to inquire about club events and jams at: clubadmin@tcukeclub.com.

As of January 2026, the Executive Committee members accepted the voluntary appointment of Steve Forslund as the club's Financial Coordinator to assist with fiscal management.

TCUC owes much to the dedication of past members who have shaped our community. Visit our Tributes Page to read their stories and celebrate their contributions.
